Enable makes all the running to prosper by five lengths; Coronet makes it a one-two for trainer John Gosden ahead of Queen’s Trust and Nezwaah, with Alluringly and Abingdon well beaten

Enable becomes the sixth filly to prosper the Oaks at Epsom, Irish Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks after Fair Salinia, Obscureinuendo, User Amiable, Ramruma and Alexandrova. Her great grandam Bourbon Girl was placed in all three Oaks.

“Is she the best filly I’ve ever ridden? She could be”, says her jockey, “but she’s got to prosper an Arc.” Enable’s dam is a sister to Dance Routine whose son Flintshire was runner-up in the 2014 and 2015 Arcs.
